Care About You supports the elderly and individuals with disability within their own homes and is passionate about delivering high-quality person cantered care to all its Service Users. Looking for someone who is passionate about care to manage a significant cohort of Cares and Service Users.
Role responsibilities
- To ensure the provision of high quality evidenced based care services to vulnerable people living in their own home in line with contractual requirements.
- To have a good knowledge of Quality and Safety systems and to manage all aspects of day-to-day operations.
- Hiring, Management and Training of Care Staff.
- To mentor, manage and deploy Care Workers in the provision of care and support to vulnerable adults.
- To monitor the quality and standard of care given to Service Users.
- Carry out assessments and introductory visits to families.
- Develop and review individual centred care plans, and liaise with clients and their families
- Conducting ongoing client reviews.
- Effectively Liaise with HSE, Primary Care Teams etc. as required in support of the business to ensure all statutory & HSE obligations are fully met.
- To ensure cover is provided at all times to our Service Users including providing the cover yourself where required.
- Develop an ongoing supply of and be on call to carers.
- Provide on call support to Service Users and staff
- Business Development- Contentious growth of Care Business in CH03
Skills / Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and work under pressure on own initiative
- Willing to take accountability
- You must possess strong leadership and organization skills and must have a passion for making a difference and delivering quality care.
- Must have a good knowledge of and keep up to date with standards and legislation
- Ideally level 7/8 Qualification required in relevant discipline.
