We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen operations. This is a vital role within the team, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for keeping all kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces clean and well-maintained. You will support chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring all tools and workspaces are ready for service, helping to deliver a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently
Ensure all crockery, cutlery, and kitchen items are cleaned and stored correctly
Keep all kitchen, storage, and waste areas clean and organised
Remove rubbish regularly and ensure bins are emptied, cleaned, and lined
Use cleaning chemicals safely and in line with regulations
Clean spills and hazards immediately to maintain a safe environment
Monitor and report any maintenance or equipment issues
Assist with general cleaning duties as required, including floors, walls, and storage areas
Ensure all areas are prepared and ready for the next shift
