We are growing, diversified engineering business, specialising in bulk materials handling systems and high-quality steel fabrication. We are expanding into new sectors and regions with our core areas of expertise including engineering design, materials handling, BOP turnkey solutions & modular build.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Finance & Accounts Administrator, an integral role in our Finance team.

About You

You have a minimum of 2-5yrs experience in a similar finance role (ideally some of this experience is in construction/engineering sector). You are collaborative and team focused with excellent communication skills and possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You are organised and have strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable processes as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Ideally you will have experience with RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) and exposure to payroll processing.

The Role

This is a Site Based position within the finance department, supporting core financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT), and Payroll cover. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial processing, regulatory compliance, and effective cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities include:

Accounts Payable

Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and process payment runs
Maintain supplier records and ensure VAT compliance

Accounts Receivable

Raise and issue customer invoices
Monitor debtor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
Allocate receipts and reconcile customer accounts
Assist with credit control and reporting

Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT)

Administer RCT processes in line with Irish Revenue requirements
Verify subcontractors and apply correct RCT rates
Submit payment notifications and returns via ROS
Maintain accurate subcontractor records

Payroll Support

Provide cover for payroll processing as required
Assist with timesheets, payroll inputs, and statutory deductions (PAYE/PRSI/USC)
Liaise with HR on employee data updates
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy at all times

Additional Duties

Bank reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end processes
Assist with audits and financial reporting
Maintain organised financial records
Support project cost tracking where required
