Full job description

Pharmacy Technician

Seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a family run, local independent pharmacy who can commence as soon as possible but are willing to wait for the right candidate.

What you need to know?

This is a permanent full-time position working 4 or 5 days a week depending on preference. You will need to work 1 or 2 Saturdays a month on a rotational basis. No Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights are required, offering an excellent work-life balance. There is an excellent and very friendly support team. MPS is the dispensing system used.

What you will be doing:

Supporting the pharmacist with the dispensing and preparation of prescriptions in line with PSI standards.
Managing stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
Providing customer support and responding to queries at the counter.
Assisting with pharmacy services and day-to-day operations.

What we require:

Previous dispensary experience is essential.
Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies or IPU Pharmacy Technician course.

Salary is negotiable based on experience!

Expected hours: 34.0 – 40.0 per week
