Pharmacy Technician
Seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a family run, local independent pharmacy who can commence as soon as possible but are willing to wait for the right candidate.
What you need to know?
This is a permanent full-time position working 4 or 5 days a week depending on preference. You will need to work 1 or 2 Saturdays a month on a rotational basis. No Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights are required, offering an excellent work-life balance. There is an excellent and very friendly support team. MPS is the dispensing system used.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting the pharmacist with the dispensing and preparation of prescriptions in line with PSI standards.
- Managing stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
- Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
- Providing customer support and responding to queries at the counter.
- Assisting with pharmacy services and day-to-day operations.

What we require:
- Previous dispensary experience is essential.
- Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies or IPU Pharmacy Technician course.
Salary is negotiable based on experience!
Expected hours: 34.0 – 40.0 per week
