The Glashaus Hotel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Night Porter to conduct hotel operations during the night shift. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who values guest experience, security, and attention to detail.

As a Night Porter, you will be the primary point of contact for guests overnight, ensuring a seamless stay while maintaining the security and cleanliness of the hotel. If you thrive in a role that requires responsibility, initiative, and outstanding customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and its guests during the night shift.
Provide a warm and professional welcome to late arrivals and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
Handle guest requests efficiently, including luggage assistance and concierge services.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.
Set up function rooms and the breakfast area as per the nightly checklist.
Ensure the hotel entrance and exterior are clean and well-presented at all times.
Stay fully trained and prepared in fire safety and emergency procedures to protect guests and staff.
Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Work flexibly, adapting to different shift patterns as needed.
Uphold data protection and confidentiality policies at all times.
Report any safety hazards, near misses, or incidents immediately.

What We're Looking For

A background in hospitality or facilities management is preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar role in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Strong IT proficiency and ability to handle booking systems.
Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
A proactive, self-motivated individual with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while following company policies and procedures.
