Job description

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and experienced in bookkeeping? We are looking for a reliable and efficient Bookkeeper to join our team. If you have experience in managing financial records and want to work in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Role

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling invoicing, payroll, and other accounting-related tasks. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure the smooth operation of all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
Assist in payroll preparation and ensure accurate tax filings.
Handle VAT calculations and filings.
Process payments, reconcile bank statements, and monitor cash flow.
Prepare financial reports and summaries on a monthly and yearly basis.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in payroll preparation and ensure accurate tax filings.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
Assist in preparing documents for audits and liaising with external accountants when needed.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
Payroll Experience: Hands-on experience with payroll processing.
VAT Knowledge: Understanding of VAT regulations and filing requirements.
Qualifications: A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping is preferred.
Tech-savvy: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: You’re thorough, precise, and committed to accuracy.
Organized & Efficient: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Integrity: Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive financial data confidentially.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
