JCPS Mechanical Ltd is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at our Ballycoolin, Dublin 11 office. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting the day-to-day finance and accounts function within a growing mechanical services company.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Purchase Orders, supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments through accounting software.
- Maintain accurate purchase and sales ledgers and reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts.
- Track material deliveries and update related invoices and records.
- Assist with month-end reporting, accruals, prepayments, VAT, RCT, and CSO returns.
- Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and customers regarding account queries and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role.
- Experience using Sage, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills.
- Construction or services industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
