What’s the job?

We are currently looking for a HR Administrator to join our HR team in Castlepollard, Westmeath. Reporting to the HR Manager, your role is central to building a strong, values-driven workplace. You’re not just supporting HR operations—you’re helping shape a culture where people thrive.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of HR. The ideal candidate will be used to working in a busy office environment, be HR qualified and have previous experience in a HR role.

Key duties & responsibilities:

Recruitment Administration; creating advertisements, scheduling interviews, reference checks, etc
Onboarding and Induction of new starters
Updating HRIS system
HR administration in relation to employee records & employee correspondence
Dealing with Social Welfare and related forms
Responding to HR related queries and requests
Administrative support for HR projects
Administration of training and development activities
Support Wellness and Social initiatives and activities
Reporting monthly HR metrics
Providing support to managers, including guidance in relation to HR policies and procedures

What are we looking for?

Ideally a HR qualification or working towards same
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Great communicator with a flexible, optimistic and professional approach.
Experience of using social media in a professional capacity
