The Role
ACE Life & Pensions and Egan Auctioneers are seeking a professional, organised and personable individual to join our team in a full-time dual role.
The position will be divided between both businesses, with three days per week working as a Client Services Administrator with ACE Life & Pensions and two days per week working as a Receptionist and Front-of-House Administrator with Egan Auctioneers.
This is a fully office-based position located at 1 Mount Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied working environment and is comfortable combining detailed administrative work with regular interaction with clients and members of the public.
ACE Life & Pensions - Three Days per Week
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the ACE Life & Pensions team, assisting with client management, compliance and the day-to-day administration of the business.
- Assisting with the administration and management of client files
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
- Supporting the team with compliance requirements and documentation
- Liaising with clients, financial institutions and product providers
- Preparing, processing and following up on client documentation
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining diaries
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries
- Providing general administrative support to the financial-services team
- Ensuring all client information is handled accurately and confidentially
Egan Auctioneers - Two Days per Week
The successful candidate will act as Receptionist and Front-of-House Administrator for Egan Auctioneers, providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for clients.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Welcoming clients and visitors to the office
- Responding to general enquiries from clients and members of the public
- Managing appointments, diaries and meeting schedules
- Taking accurate messages and ensuring enquiries are followed up
- Assisting with general office administration and correspondence
- Supporting the residential, commercial and property-management teams as required
- Maintaining a professional and well-organised reception area
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist or client-services role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and friendly manner
- Strong organisational and diary-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and email
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work across two busy businesses
- A high level of discretion when handling confidential client information
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in financial services, compliance, insurance, pensions, banking, estate agency or another regulated professional environment would be an advantage, but is not essential for a candidate with strong administrative and client-service experience.
