About us

Electrical Control Systems IE Ltd (ECSIE) designs and manufactures LV switchgear, motor control centres and industrial control panels from our facility in Monaghan, serving clients across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

We are a small, close-knit team, and this role sits at the centre of it — keeping orders moving, documentation right, and the office running while panels are designed and built a few metres away.

The role

This is a varied, hands-on office role for someone organised and accurate. You will help manage the day-to-day flow of purchase orders and deliveries, keep our project and quality documentation in order, help run our laser engraver for panel labels (full training provided), and help manage the phone.

What you will do

Raise purchase orders and track them through to delivery — chasing order confirmations, delivery dates and backorders, and keeping our order registers up to date
Book in deliveries and check goods received against purchase orders; flag shortages or damage; file delivery dockets
Maintain project and quality documentation — FAT documents, test records, purchase order records and delivery paperwork — accurately filed and audit-ready
Support our ISO 9001/14001/45001 management system with document control and record keeping
Operate our Trotec laser engraver to produce panel labels and legend plates from prepared artwork (full training provided)
Answer incoming calls, take messages and look after visitors and couriers
General office administration — scanning, filing, post, stationery and supplies, and supporting accounts with matching orders, dockets and invoices

What we are looking for — essential

Highly organised, with real attention to detail — accuracy with references, part numbers and paperwork matters here
Skilled and confident on a computer — accurate working across files, folders and email, and quick to pick up new software and AI platforms
Comfortable dealing with suppliers by phone and email, and chasing things until they are closed out
Happy working in and around a manufacturing workshop environment
Eligibility to work in Ireland and able to commute to Monaghan

Desirable (but not essential — we will consider organised, capable candidates from any background)

Microsoft Office package experience — Excel and Word in particular
Office administration experience, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering or construction-sector office
Purchasing, goods-in or stock administration experience
Exposure to document control or ISO management systems

What we offer

€29,000 – €34,000 depending on experience
Full training on our systems and the laser engraver
A genuinely varied role in a small team — direct contact with directors, engineers and the workshop, no layers
Permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday

Pay: €29,000.00-€34,000.00 per year
