medical receptionist jobs near charlestown, mo

This post is for a Friday afternoon shift (2.00pm-5.30pm) with additional hours available to provide annual leave and sick leave cover.

Working in a busy office environment, you will work within an administration team which is responsible for:

Providing cover on the reception desk, including answering calls, greeting and checking in patients.
Ensuring that all patients are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
Dealing with all queries in an efficient and professional manner
To ensure that patient care and safety are always adhered to
Managing Incoming telephone calls and scheduling patient appointments
Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
Providing administrative support to GP's and clinical staff
Maintaining accurate patient records and office filing systems in line with GDPR and practice polices

Essential Experience Includes:

Excellent telephone manner
Previous experience of working in a busy office
Customer service & verbal communication skills
Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written skills
Organised with strong time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient needs.
Ability to work well as part of a team, and to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Discretion and ability to use initiative.
Works well within a team environment

Pay: €14.15-€17.00 per hour
