About The Role

Location: Pavilions Shopping Centre, Swords
Start Date: 28 August 2026
Duration: Approximately 5 weeks
Pay rate per hour: €14.15 | 20-40 hours

Hours:

Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat & Sun: 9:00am to 6:00pm
Thu & Fri: 9:00am to 9:00pm

About the Role

Bidvest Noonan is seeking friendly and customer-focused individuals to join their team on a temporary basis during a planned maintenance project. The successful candidates will play an important role in assisting visitors with wayfinding and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the duration of the works.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Assistant:

Welcome and assist customers visiting the shopping centre.
Provide clear directions and guidance to alternative routes during lift maintenance works.
Support customers in locating stores, services, entrances, exits, and facilities.
Respond to general customer queries in a friendly and professional manner.
Monitor designated areas to ensure customers can navigate the centre safely and efficiently.
Escalate any customer concerns or issues to centre management when necessary.

Key Requirements of the Customer Assistant:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to remain professional in a busy public environment.
Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours.
Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or reception experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
