As an IT Resource Manager in the IT Strategic Vendor Management team at ICON, you will manage all activities related to the engagement, sourcing, and onboarding of IT Contractors into the IT GBS department. The IT Resource Manager will manage the IT Contractor activities from managing the database of contractor details, the sourcing of IT Contractor Statement of Works (SOW) and working with the resource owner to raise the associated PO's in a timely fashion so we always have our contractors engaged on project and operational activities, based in the right locations with the right organisation making sure it is delivering value for ICON.
What You Will Do:
You will manage day-to-day the sourcing on IT Contractors, sourcing the associated SOW, making sure we have raised the required purchase orders and onboarding process. They will also manage the database of IT Contractors within IT GBS.
Key responsibilities include:

Embracing and contributing to the culture of process improvement, focusing on enhancing efficiency, adding value, and meeting client needs.

In a managerial role, recognize the significance of cultivating a culture of process improvement with an emphasis on streamlining processes, adding value, and satisfying customer needs.

Coordinate all activities related to onboarding and managing the IT Contractor engagement and vendor engagement.
Your Profile:
You will have solid IT and vendor engagement experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Required qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's diploma, degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven leadership experience in managing IT projects and teams.

Demonstrated ability to create and nurture a culture of continuous process improvement and streamlined operations.

Knowledge of technology trends and the associated skills capabilities required to deliver that capability.

Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
