Product-led role | QA and delivery ownership | AI-enabled SDLC
Location: Ireland or Northern Ireland
Working model: Hybrid, combining office-based and remote working
Experience: Typically 2–3 years' relevant experience
Function: AI Product / Product Delivery
Role type: Customer-facing product role with hands-on QA and delivery responsibility
Role purpose
FlowForma is looking for an AI Product & Delivery Specialist to help take an emerging AI product from pilot and experimentation towards a scalable commercial offering. The primary focus of the role is Product: understanding customer problems, shaping requirements, prioritising what should be built and ensuring the resulting product meets those requirements.
The role also owns quality and delivery through FlowForma's AI-led SDLC. You will act as the product and quality owner within that lifecycle – defining requirements, guiding work through the AI-enabled development process, validating outputs, testing thoroughly and driving releases through to production.
Strong technical understanding is important, but this is not a traditional full-time software development role. We are looking for a product-minded person with strong QA discipline and enough technical capability to work confidently inside an AI-enabled delivery model.
The role will contribute actively to product direction and own execution once priorities have been agreed by the product-direction group.
What you will own
- Translate agreed product direction into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and a prioritised delivery backlog.
- Own day-to-day product delivery from definition through build, validation, testing, release and iteration.
- Act as the product and quality owner within FlowForma's AI-led SDLC, ensuring implementation aligns to requirements and is appropriately tested before release.
- Own functional acceptance, regression testing, release readiness and follow-through on defects.
- Define and execute product test scenarios, including validation of AI behaviour against expected outcomes.
- Shape and evaluate prompts, agents, AI workflows and model behaviour where these form part of the product experience.
- Make day-to-day product and delivery decisions, escalating material architectural or technical decisions where appropriate.
- Maintain delivery momentum and a clear view of priorities, risks, defects and upcoming releases.
Product discovery and customer engagement
- Speak regularly with prospects, pilot users and customers to understand their problems, workflows and priorities.
- Lead or support product discovery sessions and use-case discussions.
- Demo product capabilities and new features in a pre-sales and product capacity.
- Distinguish repeatable product opportunities from one-off customer requests.
- Identify patterns across customer and prospect conversations and use them to recommend what should be built next.
- Bring evidence, feedback and product recommendations into the product-direction group.
Experience and skills
- Around 2–3 years' relevant experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, technical product delivery, QA, solutions engineering, implementation consulting, automation, software engineering or a similar role.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous customer and business problems into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Practical experience owning or contributing to product testing, QA, release validation or acceptance.
- Comfort working with modern AI development tools or AI-assisted software delivery processes.
- Enough technical understanding to investigate issues, assess implementation quality and challenge poor outcomes without needing to be a full-time software developer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working with APIs, data flows, integrations and modern cloud application concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence speaking directly with prospects and customers.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and take ownership of delivery outcomes.
What matters more than your previous job title
- You have strong product instincts and naturally focus on the customer problem before the solution.
- You can turn conversations and ambiguous feedback into clear, testable requirements.
- You care about quality and are comfortable owning acceptance and release readiness.
- You understand that AI-generated implementation still requires human judgement, testing and accountability.
- You are technically curious and comfortable working closely with an AI-enabled development lifecycle.
- You are equally comfortable discussing a customer use case and investigating why a feature is not behaving as expected.
- You enjoy operating in an experimental environment where the product is still being shaped.
Desirable
- Experience with AI agents, LLM applications, prompt evaluation or AI workflow design.
- Experience in SaaS, workflow, process automation, compliance, risk or B2B enterprise software.
- Experience participating in product discovery or pre-sales technical conversations.
- Familiarity with agile product development, backlog management and release processes.
- Experience using AI coding assistants or agentic development tools in a structured delivery environment.
Career development
As the product matures, this role has the potential to evolve towards broader AI Product Owner responsibility.
The initial focus is deliberately hands-on: learning directly from the market while owning product quality and delivery.
Right to work
Candidates must already have the unrestricted right to work in the jurisdiction in which they will be employed.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
