Full job description

Please refrain from applying if you cannot work full time.

€15.40ph, 40 hours pw, Mon - Fri, 8am -4.30pm.

Role Function

Operate forklifts and carry out warehouse operational tasks to support the movement, storage, and control of goods within the warehouse and yard.

Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of stock across all inbound, outbound, and storage activities.

Core Responsibilities

Forklift Operations

Operate forklift trucks to load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles
Move pallets and stock between warehouse locations and yard areas
Place stock into designated storage racking locations
Retrieve stock for picking, dispatch, and staging areas
Conduct safe handling of all palletised goods

Order Picking & Packing

Pick orders accurately according to picking lists or system instructions
Pack and prepare goods for dispatch
Ensure correct quantities and product types are selected
Stage completed orders in designated dispatch areas

Goods Inward Processing

Receive incoming deliveries and unload vehicles safely
Check goods against delivery documentation
Identify and report discrepancies, damage, or missing items
Allocate received goods to correct warehouse locations

Stock Control

Assist in maintaining accurate stock locations within warehouse system
Carry out stock movements as instructed
Support cycle counts and stock checks when required
Report stock discrepancies or issues to warehouse supervision

Warehouse Maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse areas
Ensure racking and storage areas are kept orderly
Support waste removal and general housekeeping tasks
Maintain clear access routes for operational safety

Operational Support

Support other warehouse operatives with workload as required
Assist with dispatch, staging, or returns processing during peak activity
Follow instructions from warehouse management to support workflow
Contribute to smooth daily warehouse operations

Safety Compliance

Operate forklifts in accordance with site safety procedures
Carry out daily equipment checks prior to use
Report equipment faults or safety hazards immediately
Follow all manual handling and site safety rules

Pay: €15.40 per hour
