Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Director to lead our commercial strategy and support the continued growth of our telecoms business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing revenue-growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities, strengthening key partnerships, and leading commercial teams. This is a senior leadership position suited to someone who combines strategic thinking with strong sales, business development, and market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company’s overall commercial strategy.
Identify and pursue new revenue and business opportunities.
Lead sales, business development, partnerships, and commercial activities.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Develop pricing, sales, and go-to-market strategies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Establish and manage commercial targets, budgets, and KPIs.
Negotiate major contracts, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders on business strategy.
Identify opportunities to expand products, services, and market presence.
Analyse commercial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing commercial teams.
Ensure commercial activities support the company's long-term growth and profitability.

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior commercial, sales, business development, or similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of commercial strategy and revenue generation.
Experience managing teams and achieving commercial targets.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.
Strong financial and analytical understanding.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and make commercially sound decisions.
Experience within telecommunications, technology, connectivity, or a related industry is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of B2B and/or B2C markets is an advantage.
