Social Care Worker
As part of the development of our new residential services, we are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the above position. Candidates must be highly motivated, creative and committed to supporting individuals to live meaningful and self-directed lives. Candidates must be person-centred, compassionate and committed to delivering high-quality supports that promote rights, dignity, inclusion and independence.
As a Social Care Worker, you will work in partnership with individuals supported by the service to provide professional, person-centred and rights-based supports that are informed by each individual's will and preferences, strengths, abilities, needs and aspirations. You will support individuals to achieve their personal goals, maximise independence, develop meaningful relationships and participate fully in their communities.
The successful candidate will promote positive outcomes for individuals through the delivery of safe, high-quality supports and will work collaboratively with colleagues, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure individuals are supported to live meaningful and fulfilling lives within their home and local community.
This is a full-time position. Contracts are with the service.

General Responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience
Hold a Degree in Social Care or foreign equivalent qualification (validated by QQI).
Be registered with CORU as a Social Care Worker or be in the process of obtaining CORU registration.
A minimum of six months post-qualification experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities, autism and/or complex support needs is desirable.
Must hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to drive company vehicles.
Hold valid work authorisation for Ireland.
Be proficient in both oral and written English language.
