We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Team in Mallow, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a stable IT environment while delivering highquality support while maintaining a positive and professional candidate journey at all times.

Installing, encrypting, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and email issues

Providing firstline and secondline technical support to users

Managing user accounts, passwords, and access permissions (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365)

Setting up and deploying new devices

Installing updates, patches, and security software
-
Logging and resolving incidents through a ticketing system
-
Supporting remote users via remoteaccess tools
-
Providing telephony support for both mobile and landline solutions
-
Documenting solutions and maintaining IT asset inventories

Good understanding of Windows operating systems, primarily Windows 11 Pro, and macOS
-
Knowledge of hardware and software installation, repair, and upgrades
-
Ability to work with both iOS and Android devices

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
