Job Description:
We are a family-owned Irish jewellery business with over 45 years of heritage in jewellery design and craftsmanship, with two stores in Galway City Centre and an established online presence serving customers across Ireland and worldwide. Inspired by Ireland's rich artistic traditions, our collections include Celtic, Claddagh and contemporary Irish jewellery.
We are seeking a creative, organised and enthusiastic Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Assistant to help grow our digital presence and share our brand story online. This hands-on role combines social media, content creation, photography, branding, customer engagement, and e-commerce support across our Shopify website and Etsy stores. Working closely with a small team, you will assist in showcasing our jewellery, heritage and craftsmanship through engaging digital content while supporting the ongoing development of our online sales channels. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in creativity, Irish design, social media, marketing and online retail who enjoys combining creative thinking with strong organisational skills and is eager to develop their experience within a growing independent Irish business.

Occasionally: Foxford Jewelery, Corbett Court, Galway
Working Hours:
Monday-Saturday: 9am-5pm
Roster Schedule:
Flexible 2-3 Days
Hourly Wage:
€14.15 (Paid Weekly)
Responsibilities:
General:
* Work Collaboratively with Colleagues Across the Business.
* Contribute Ideas to Support Business Growth and Brand Development.
* Maintain Organised Digital Files and Content Libraries.
* Assist with Other Digital and Administrative Tasks as Required.
Digital Marketing:
* Create and Schedule Content Across Social Media Platforms.
* Assist with Marketing Campaigns, Promotions and Brand Development.
* Create Engaging Content Including Photography, Video and Written Content.
* Assist with Social Media Management and Community Engagement.
* Support Customer Engagement Through Social Media and Digital Channels.
* Assist with Email Marketing and Digital Communications.
* Research Trends, Competitors and Opportunities to Grow Brand Awareness.
E-Commerce:
* Assist with the Development and Maintenance of Shopify and Etsy Stores.
* Upload and Manage Product Listings, Images and Product Information.
* Assist with Online Order Processing and Administration.
* Respond to Online Customer Enquiries Professionally and Efficiently.
* Assist with Stock Management Through Digital Systems.
* Support the Ongoing Improvement of the Online Customer Experience.
* Assist with Packing and Shipping Online Orders.
* Prepare Orders for Dispatch Accurately and Efficiently.
* Help Ensure Orders Are Processed and Delivered to a High Standard.
Essential Requirements:
* Must be Legally Eligible to Work in the Republic of Ireland.
* Must Have (or be able to open) a Bank Account in the Republic of Ireland (for Payroll Purposes).
* Interest in Jewellery, Fashion and Retail
* Strong Interest in Social Media, Marketing and Digital Content Creation.
* Interest in Irish Design, Craftsmanship and Branding.
* Creative Storytelling and Strong Visual Communication Skills.
* Strong Eye for Visual Presentation and Branding.
* Ability to Create Engaging Visual and Written Content.
* Basic Photography and/or Video Creation Skills.
* Experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing or Content Creation.
* Fluent in Spoken and Written English
* Friendly and Professional Communication Skills.
* Mature, Reliable and Level-Headed with Good Judgement.
* Ability to Work as Part of a Small Team.
* Strong Attention to Detail and Accuracy.
* Good Computer Literacy and Digital Platform Skills.
* Willingness to Learn New Digital Tools and Systems.
* Ability to Manage Multiple Tasks and Meet Deadlines.
* Ability to Maintain Accurate Product, Order and Customer Records.
* Willingness to Occasionally Assist on the Shop Floor if Required.
Preferences:
* Experience Managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest or Similar Platforms.
* Experience Creating Content for Social Media Campaigns and Brand Promotion.
* Experience Using Canva or Similar Design Tools.
* Experience in Photography, Videography or Short-Form Video Editing.
* Experience with Shopify, Etsy or Other E-Commerce Platforms.
* Experience with Email Marketing and Customer Communication Tools.
* Experience Using Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads.
* Understanding of Online Branding and Consumer Behaviour.
* Experience Scheduling and Managing Social Media Content.
* Experience in Customer Engagement via Digital Platforms (DMs, Email, etc.).
* Strong Interest in Jewellery, Irish Design and Craftsmanship.
* Marketing, Branding or Digital Marketing Qualifications or Certifications.
* Strong Commercial Awareness and Interest in Online Sales Growth.
