About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Commercial Support Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to build a career within the insurance industry.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Commercial Team, assisting with customer service, commercial documentation, record management, and general office administration. The role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the business while supporting colleagues in delivering exceptional service to clients

Key Responsibilities

· Provide administrative support to the Commercial Team.

· Prepare, process, and maintain quotations, proposals, reports, and commercial documentation.

· Deal with daily incoming and outgoing post and process accordingly.

· Input and maintain accurate customer information within company systems.

· Handle incoming / outgoing emails in a professional and timely manner.

· Liaise with insurers, customers, suppliers, and internal departments to obtain information and ensure timely follow-up of requirements.

· Assist team members with client administration and day-to-day servicing activities.

· Prepare presentations, spreadsheets and correspondence as required.

· Process documentation accurately and maintain up-to-date electronic and paper records.

· Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up with customers and third parties where necessary.

· Assist with diary management and team administration.

· Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in line with company procedures.

· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

· Provide excellent customer service and resolve routine queries efficiently.

· Assist with general office administration and support the wider business as required.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, commercial support, or office-based role preferred but not essential.
A genuine interest in developing a career within the insurance industry.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience using CRM, broker management, or business systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
Ability to prioritise workload, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
A professional and positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
