Job Description:

Hotel Woodstock are currently inviting applications for a Sales Executive (Maternity Cover) 6 Month Fixed Term Contract .

As Sales Executive at Hotel Woodstock you will be primarily assisting our Sales & Events Manager and Wedding Co-Ordinator, while working closely with all other departments in the Hotel to ensure the seamless delivery of meetings, events and functions.

Responsibilities:

Identify and engage prospective clients to generate leads and secure bookings for events, conferences, and meetings.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to promote the hotel's event spaces and services.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create targeted promotional campaigns and packages to drive sales and revenue growth.
Conduct site tours and meetings with clients to understand their needs, provide customized event solutions, and negotiate contracts.
Coordinate event logistics, including catering, audiovisual requirements, room setups, to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
Act as the main point of contact as required for clients throughout the event planning process, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations effectively.
Work closely with various departments within the hotel, including catering, operations, and housekeeping, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
Prepare up to date and accurate function sheets with all relevant information regarding any function or event held in the Hotel.
Collaborate with the catering team in the design of menus for various functions and events.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify opportunities for business development and strategic partnerships.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, event bookings, and revenue forecasts to the management team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in the sales industry preferably in event management, or hospitality sales.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and provide exceptional customer service.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required.
