Key Requirements:

Strong leadership and team management skills

Knowledge of large-scale food production and catering logistics

Creativity in menu planning and presentation

Good communication skills

Understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP)
Main Duties:

Plan and prepare for banquets, weddings, and special events

Oversee food preparation and cooking for large groups
-
Coordinate with event planners, managers, and front-of-house staff

Ensure food is presented attractively and served on time

Monitor food quality, taste, and portion control
-
Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards
-
Control food costs, stock levels, and minimize waste
-
Handle last-minute changes or special dietary requirements
