Position: Chef de Partie
Nature of Job: To ensure that all areas of the Kitchen are Cleaned and Kept Clean to the agreed standards while ensuring compliance to Health & Safety, HACCP and Employment Legislation and to ensure that food preparation and production are carried out to the highest standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

Main Duties:
To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform
To prepare and produce food for the area which you are assigned and to the agreed standards in conjunction with other chefs
To minimise wastage
To ensure all necessary mis en place are ready prior to service
Ensure that your work area is kept clean and tidy at all times in accordance with Hygiene regulations.
Attend all meetings and training organised by the Food & Beverage Manager.
Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance to the agreed standards.
Adhere at all times to the highest standard of cleaning and hygiene to the agreed hotel & company standard.
Adhere at all times to the Health & Safety at Work Act.
Observe all company fire regulations and be familiar with emergency procedure.
Inform the Head Chef of any maintenance requirements within the department.
Observe all company rules and regulations.
Operate machinery and care for it as necessary, ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures
Carry out the hotel’s customer relation’s policy.
Deal with house property as per house policy.
Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of you, other employees, guests and any other persons on the premises
Carry out fire and accident procedures.
Ensure that all materials and equipment are not left in a hazardous state.
Report and, where possible, take action on incidents of accident, fire loss or damage.
To carry out any reasonable tasks requested of you by management.
Occasional Duties:
To help Kitchen Porters with cleaning duties
Characteristics and Conditions:
To attend any relevant training courses as requested.
Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour
