JJ Fleming & Co. is a well-established, family-run business, established in 1947, with a strong name in the Irish motor trade. Located on the Tuam Road, Galway, we have built our reputation on quality, reliability and looking after our customers.

Experience-dependent pay – we are prepared to pay very well for the right experienced mechanic.

We are looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic looking for a long-term position with a well-established and growing business.

The Role

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out fault finding and diagnostics
Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
Identifying additional work and reporting any issues found
Carrying out NCT preparation and general vehicle maintenance
Ensuring all work is completed safely and professionally
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
Working as part of a supportive team

The Person

We are looking for an experienced mechanic who:

Has proven experience working in a motor trade/workshop environment
Takes pride in their workmanship and has excellent attention to detail
Has strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Can work independently and as part of a team
Is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in getting the job done properly
Has a full driving licence
Is committed to delivering high-quality work
