Full job description

Experienced Baker / Pastry Chef Full-Time | Permanent

Rustic Honey Bakery – Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Baker / Pastry Chef to join our friendly production bakery team.

If you take pride in your work, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for producing beautiful baked goods, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As part of our production bakery, you'll be responsible for producing a wide range of handcrafted products to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Baking, finishing and decorating products to a consistently high standard.
Producing a variety of products including:
Tarts
Traybakes
Scones
Cakes and sponges
Cookies
Seasonal and bespoke products
Following recipes accurately while also contributing ideas for new products and recipe development.
Ensuring every product meets Rustic Honey's quality and presentation standards.
Working efficiently both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Planning and managing your workload to meet daily production deadlines.
Preparing, packing and processing customer orders.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and keeping your workstation clean and organised.
Communicating effectively with management and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the bakery.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has at least one year's experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen or similar environment.
Has a genuine passion for baking and quality food.
Takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality products.
Is hardworking, reliable and has a positive attitude.
Enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
Can work independently using their own initiative.
Is flexible, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Wants to continue learning and developing their skills.

Hours

Full-time, permanent position.
