Full job description

The Role

We are looking for a highly professional and well-presented Security Receptionist to join our team in Cork City. In this role, you will balance high-end corporate hospitality with a rigorous security mindset, ensuring that every visitor and employee feel

welcomed while maintaining the integrity of our office space.

This role serves as the first point of contact for the organisation, managing the reception area and access control, monitoring site safety, handling incoming calls and correspondence, coordinating visitor access, and supporting general administrative activities to ensure the smooth day-to-day

operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities

· Front Desk and Visitor Management: Greet and welcome visitors, customers, vendors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Manage visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures in line with company security and safety requirements.

· Corporate Hospitality: Provide world-class customer service to employees and visitors, handling inquiries and directing traffic with poise and professionalism.

· Access Management: Orchestrate the visitor experience by managing the visitor system, vetting credentials, and ensuring all guests are properly badged and escorted.

· Incident Response: Serve as a primary point of contact during emergency situations, assisting with building evacuations and coordinating with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and local first responders.

· Operational/Office Support: Coordinate incoming/outgoing logistics, including secure courier deliveries and vendor access for facilities maintenance. Provide general administrative support to office teams, management, or facilities functions.

Required Skills and Competencies

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Professional, friendly, and polished manner

· Strong customer service orientation

· Good organisational and multitasking abilities

· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

· High attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

· A high degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly

· Strong time management and reliability

Qualifications and Experience

· 2+ years of experience in corporate reception, high-end hospitality, or a security-focused customer service role.

· Minimum Leaving Certificate level or equivalent

· Current PSA licence is preferred (if you don’t hold a PSA licence, you must be willing to complete the process of acquiring one)
