KNOW THE ROLE

Working in a dynamic cross-functional environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing engaging, brand-building social content across multiple channels. By inspiring, entertaining and engaging our customers, you will play a key role in growing the Brown Thomas Arnotts brand and supporting category divisions including womenswear, menswear, beauty, accessories, shoes and home.

Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, the successful candidate will see themselves as both a social media specialist and content creator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where exceptional customer experience is the focus. This is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to deliver social-first content that grows our online communities, drives engagement and supports business objectives
Create engaging still and video content across social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging platforms
Shoot, edit and produce high-quality photography and video content for both organic and paid social campaigns
Publish content across multiple social media accounts, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives and tone of voice
Contribute to campaign ideation, content planning and social media calendar management
Monitor social trends, platform updates and cultural moments, identifying opportunities to create relevant, engaging and shareable content
Experience directing on-camera talent and collaborating with influencers, brand partners and internal stakeholders to create compelling social-first content from concept through to final edit
Support day-to-day community management, helping to foster engagement and conversation with our audiences
Work closely with Marketing, PR, Buying, Creative, Operations and E-commerce teams to bring campaigns and brand moments to life across social channels
Assist with social media reporting, performance analysis and content optimisation to continuously improve content performance and audience engagement

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

3+ years' experience in a social media, content creation or digital marketing role
Proven experience creating, editing and optimising social-first content, with a strong portfolio demonstrating photography, videography and creative storytelling skills
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Experience shooting, editing and delivering high-quality photography and video content from concept through to execution
Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other key social platforms, including platform best practices, audience behaviours and emerging trends
Strong copywriting, communication and storytelling skills
Experience directing talent and contributors to create engaging, platform-native content
A creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh content ideas and campaign concepts that align with brand and business objectives
Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering best-in-class content
Knowledge of social media analytics and an ability to interpret performance data to inform future content strategies
Passion for luxury fashion, beauty, lifestyle and retail trends
