Job Title: Administration Assistant (Maternity Leave Cover)
Location: Unit 4, Ardcavan Business Park, Co. Wexford
Employment Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Leave Cover)
Reports To: Office Manager
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Kelly’s Bakery was established in 1910 and specialises in the distribution of a range of baked goods. Through four generations the business has grown, changed and adapted to new innovations, customer needs and market demands — from delivering fresh product house to house via horse and cart, to now producing and distributing product across Ireland and continental Europe. Position Summary

The Administration Assistant will provide maternity leave cover, delivering efficient administrative support across the organisation.

The role involves accurate data inputting, timely scanning and filing of documents, preparation of relevant reports, and responding to customer queries with an exceptional standard of customer care.

Working closely with the wider team and partaking in team meetings, the Administration Assistant will play an important role in maintaining efficient administrative processes throughout the maternity leave cover period.

We're hoping for the successful candidate to start in early October 2026.

Key Responsibilities

The Administration Assistant will be responsible for:

· Data inputting and working with online systems.

· Scanning and filing of documents in a timely and efficient manner.

· Preparation of relevant reports.

· Responding to customer queries and delivering an exceptional standard of customer care.

· Partaking in team meetings.

· Other ad hoc administration duties as required.

Skills and Experience

The role requires:

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Competency in computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

· A confident communicator.

· The ability to prioritise and follow up effectively.

· Capable of working on their own initiative.

· A Business Related Degree qualification, or Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration.

· Similar administrative experience is essential.
