MKF Property Services Ltd is a Client Focused, Dedicated Total Facilities Management Company. With over 20 years experience in Ireland and Europe, our service is based on the quality of our people and our ability to streamline that service based on the needs and requirements of our individual clients. We offer a single source FM solution for our National and International Client List.

With a broadening portfolio of projects and clients, MKF are now again looking to add to our FM team and have an opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Facilities Technician.

This Role will be based in one of our Dublin Client locations.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the on-site FM team ensuring quality day to day FM maintenance and service delivery in line with our service standards and Client expectations.

This role will be based on busy Client facing sites, so good presentation, attitude and a personable manner is a must for this role.

Responsibilities will include;

- Execution of day to day Building Fabric and general services works as part of the FM team, in a safe manner.

- Provide updates to the MKF FM Manager on all building services/maintenance issues.

- Responsible for building fabric up-keep and advise FM on maintenance requirements.

- Assist with or carry out mechanical, electrical, painting and building fabric repairs / installations.

- Supports Set-up of meeting rooms and conference events in line with Client requests or business requirements.

- Assist with desk / staff moves or relocation as per Client request

- Ensure adequate spares and parts are in stock to carry out minor repairs and maintenance.

- Assists with contractor management on-site for all planned and un-planned maintenance while on site.

- Carry out daily inspection and maintenance checks to the building and associated plant

- Identify & escalate any maintenance or life & safety issue and implement corrective action in agreement FM Manager.

- Ensure all relevant applicable Client Policy & Procedures are adhered to.

- Liaison with and support Client Environmental Health & Safety team.

- Assists with the monitoring and control of utilities supplied to the building including supporting and assisting in the development and implementation of energy conservation, carbon reduction schemes.

- Support and assist in all new initiatives introduced on site which Client / MKF wish to implement.

- As part of the Facilities team, responding to Client staff work requests / help desk requests and reactive maintenance works in a timely fashion via Client CAFM portal.

- Provide professional service in all dealings with Client or third parties in the execution of daily duties.

- Out of hours on call site attendances (on rotation)

- Trouble shooting / First responder to building fabric / services issues

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

- Carpentry/Electrical/Mechanical /Maintenance background or similar environment

- Trade qualified

- Safe Pass, manual handling

- Proven ability to work well as part of a broader team, in addition to working well under your own initiative.

- Self motivated, polite, hardworking, proactive attitude.

- Good oral and written English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with other team members, the Client and contractors.

- Computer literate

- The ability to learn quickly and action items as required autonomously.
