Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Parcel Sorter to join our busy delivery depot team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be part of the team responsible for getting parcels sorted, organised and ready to go out for delivery each day. You'll be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where teamwork, accuracy and punctuality are important.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Receiving and unloading incoming parcels
Scanning and sorting parcels accurately to the correct routes and locations
Moving parcels safely around the depot
Preparing parcels for drivers and outbound delivery
Assisting with loading delivery vehicles when required
Working as part of a team to keep the depot running efficiently
Following all company health & safety and operational procedures
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and free from hazards

Working Hours

Early morning shifts starting from approximately 3:50am
Typical finish time is around 9:00am, depending on the workload
Approximately 25 hours per week
Additional hours may be available during busy periods
Start and finish times may vary depending on operational requirements
Working days and rosters will be discussed during the recruitment process
All working time is recorded through our electronic timekeeping system

Please note: The early start time is an essential requirement of this position.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual – our operation depends on the team being ready to start on time
Comfortable working in a busy, physical environment
Able to regularly lift and move parcels safely
Comfortable being on your feet and active throughout the shift
Available for early morning starts
A good team player with a positive attitude
Safety-conscious and willing to follow procedures
Able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy

Previous warehouse, logistics or parcel-handling experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided, so experience is not essential.
