Full job description

Bandon Co-op is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Executive to join our team. You'll play an important part in ensuring our customers receive an excellent shopping experience, both online and offline, while helping to grow our social media engagement. You'll be proactive, willing to learn new skills and excited to contribute to the continued growth of the company.

The Role:

This role combines content creation, social media management and ecommerce. With 3 physical stores and a recently re-launched ecommerce platform, this person will take ownership of online sales, social media channels and developing content to promote same. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this person will help to shape the direction of the digital marketing strategy and enhance the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Showcase an online shopping experience that reflects an in-store experience, including product ranges, product availability and product information.
Manage the company’s website and ensure it is kept up to date with all campaigns, products and appropriate content.
Responsible for all aspects of fulfilling online and Click & Collect orders, including customer service.
Produce monthly reports, utilising Google Analytics and WooCommerce reporting, to track traffic, sales and conversion rates.
Create engaging and impactful content to enhance our SEO & position the company as a leading retailer.
Work closely with our agency partner on PPC and social media campaigns.
Develop an understanding of our online shopper and identify enhancements to help improve their customer journey.
Develop social media content to drive sales both online and across our retail footprint.
Develop engaging content for our digital platforms, including our website and social media channels.
Schedule posts and monitor engagement.
Support email marketing campaigns.
As a member of the marketing team, you will assist in larger campaigns and events throughout the year.

Skills & Experience – Essential

A bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing, business, communications or another related discipline.
Practical experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, gained through employment, internships or substantial project work.
Practical experience of creating content for social media, gained through employment, internships or substantial project work.
Previous experience working with WooCommerce or another e-commerce platform, Canva and CapCut, or other content tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good computer skills and confidence using online systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A proactive approach and willingness to learn new platforms, channels and techniques.
Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Klaviyo

Pay: From €35,000.00 per year
