Apprentice Carpenter

About Us

CJ Carpentry & Construction Ltd. is a growing construction company specialising in high-end residential renovations, extensions and bespoke joinery. We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team and learn the trade while working alongside highly skilled and experienced carpenters.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both our workshop and on-site, working on a wide variety of bespoke carpentry and construction projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting qualified carpenters on construction sites and in our workshop.
Learning all aspects of first fix, second fix and bespoke joinery.
Operating woodworking machinery under supervision.
Assisting with the manufacture and installation of custom-built furniture and joinery.
Reading drawings and learning correct construction methods.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
Using hand and power tools safely and correctly.
Developing your skills through practical, hands-on experience every day.
