About Us
CJ Carpentry & Construction Ltd. is a growing construction company specialising in high-end residential renovations, extensions and bespoke joinery. We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team and learn the trade while working alongside highly skilled and experienced carpenters.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both our workshop and on-site, working on a wide variety of bespoke carpentry and construction projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting qualified carpenters on construction sites and in our workshop.
- Learning all aspects of first fix, second fix and bespoke joinery.
- Operating woodworking machinery under supervision.
- Assisting with the manufacture and installation of custom-built furniture and joinery.
- Reading drawings and learning correct construction methods.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Developing your skills through practical, hands-on experience every day.
