As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Office & Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the operational success of the business.
Reporting directly to the Directors, this senior position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the office, leading the administration team, strengthening business processes and ensuring the smooth coordination of operational, commercial and financial administration across multiple live construction projects.
Working closely with our Directors, Accountant, Commercial Manager, Purchasing Team, Site Managers and Project Managers, you will help ensure projects are supported efficiently from tender stage through to final account and project handover. You will oversee business administration, financial controls, project documentation, compliance and office systems while driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced professional from the construction industry who has excellent organisational skills, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to manage people, improve processes and support a fast-paced contracting business.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the office, ensuring efficient business support across all departments.
- Manage, support and develop the administration team, promoting high standards of performance and accountability.
- Work closely with the Directors to support the delivery of company objectives.
- Develop and improve office systems, procedures and operational processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor business priorities, ensuring deadlines are achieved and actions are followed through.
Commercial & Financial Support
- Oversee office financial administration, including supplier accounts, purchase ledger, subcontractor documentation and project cost administration.
- Support budgeting, cash flow management and financial reporting alongside the Directors and Accountant.
- Oversee applications for payment, valuations, variations, retention schedules and final account administration.
- Oversee accurate commercial records to support project profitability and operational performance.
Project Administration
- Coordinate administrative support across multiple live fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects.
- Maintain project documentation, contract records, programme information and document control systems.
- Support tender submissions, procurement administration and project reporting.
- Ensure project information is accurate, organised and readily available to project teams.
Business Support & Compliance
- Maintain company records relating to Health & Safety, insurance, training, statutory compliance and quality systems.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including IT systems, equipment and company assets.
- Manage office technology, user access and business systems in conjunction with external IT providers.
- Support GDPR compliance, document management and business continuity planning.
Client & Supplier Relationships
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate communication between office and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Support the delivery of the high standards of customer service for which Creighan Contracts is recognised.
General
- Maintain confidentiality of company, commercial and financial information.
- Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the business.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the Managing Director and Operations Director.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior office management, operations or business support role within the construction or fit-out industry.
- Proven experience managing an administration team.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budgeting, cost reporting and financial administration.
- Experience supporting multiple live construction or fit-out projects.
- Excellent organisational, planning and leadership skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using accounting software and construction management/document control systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria
- Qualification in Business Administration, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of commercial construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Experience within commercial fit-out, refurbishment or main contracting.
- Experience working with quality management and Health & Safety systems.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
Pay: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
