Apprentice Carpenter

Location: Primarily Galway & Mayo

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

We’re looking for a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in carpentry while gaining hands-on experience on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout Galway and Mayo.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting experienced carpenters on site.
Learning all aspects of first-fix, second-fix and general carpentry.
Using hand and power tools safely and correctly.
Measuring, cutting and installing timber and other building materials.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
Working as part of a professional and supportive team.
Flat roofing will also be included.

What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in carpentry and the construction industry.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Safe Pass and Manual Handling are an advantage (or willingness to obtain them).
Full, clean driving licence is essential.

What We Offer

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
On-the-job training with experienced tradespeople.
Opportunity to complete a recognised carpentry apprenticeship.
