Apprentice Carpenter
Location: Primarily Galway & Mayo
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
We’re looking for a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in carpentry while gaining hands-on experience on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout Galway and Mayo.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting experienced carpenters on site.
- Learning all aspects of first-fix, second-fix and general carpentry.
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Measuring, cutting and installing timber and other building materials.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Working as part of a professional and supportive team.
- Flat roofing will also be included.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in carpentry and the construction industry.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling are an advantage (or willingness to obtain them).
- Full, clean driving licence is essential.
