Baking - Pastry - Savoury - Dispatch

Job Type: Full-time (Afternoon & Evening Shift)

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef / Kitchen Assistant to join our busy production kitchen. This is an afternoon/evening role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake fresh scones during the afternoon and evening shift.
Pack and dispatch finished products accurately for delivery to our retail shops.
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
Work across both the pastry kitchen and savoury kitchen as required.
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Follow food safety procedures and ensure a clean and organised work environment.
Support the wider kitchen team to ensure production deadlines are met.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a chef, baker, or kitchen assistant is preferred.
Ability to bake or willingness to learn bakery production.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in both pastry and savoury sections.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Able to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
