Full job description

The Royal Marine Hotel, a landmark 4-star destination overlooking Dublin Bay, is seeking an experienced and passionate Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team and help shape exceptional guest experiences across our 228-bedroom property.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who combines strong operational expertise with a genuine passion for people. As Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in creating memorable guest journeys while leading, developing and inspiring a dedicated team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

A visible and hands-on leader, you will be at the heart of the guest experience, ensuring our high standards of service are delivered consistently and warmly every day.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and support the Front Office team to deliver outstanding guest service at every stage of the guest journey.
Oversee all front office operations, including guest arrivals, departures and daily reception activities, ensuring a seamless experience.
Maintain and enhance service standards in line with the hotel's 4-star expectations.
Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Provide coaching, guidance and constructive feedback to support team development and performance.
Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Manage staffing levels and departmental resources to meet operational requirements and business objectives.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and statutory requirements.
Lead by example through a visible presence within the department and a commitment to excellence.
Recruit, train, manage, develop and inspire the Front Office team, promoting engagement, accountability and continuous professional growth.

The ideal candidate will bring:

Previous experience in a Front Office leadership role within a 4-star hotel environment in Ireland.
A proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working in a busy, high-volume hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of Hotsoft or a similar Property Management System.
A calm and professional approach, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
High levels of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and resilience.
The ability to build positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and senior management.
A hands-on leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability and teamwork.
A strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering operational excellence.
