We are hiring — Electricians | Quality Team

We are looking for experienced Electricians to join our Testing team. The ideal candidates will work closely with the production team, be self-motivated, work efficiently and have strong attention to detail.

We welcome applications from internal candidates who hold a Level 6 or Level 7 qualification and are committed to progressing to Level 8.

Responsibilities

Testing of all switchgear in accordance with general arrangement and schematic drawings.
Perform inspections, fault finding and testing of electrical installations and controls, high voltage, megger testing and creating snag lists.
Prepare and perform factory acceptance testing with clients demonstrating switchgear functionality.
Complete electrical test certificates and inspection reports.
Communicate effectively with the production team and clients.
Ensuring all testing equipment is calibrated and up to date.
Adhering to company health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

A qualified Electrician or have a higher technical qualification.
Preferred five years relevant work experience in Switchgear/Control manufacturing environment.
Strong technical ability and excellent electrical competency
Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
Good troubleshooting skills
Analytical mindset
Excellent personnel management and communication skills.
Proactive with an eye for continuous improvement.
Good IT skills.
Operate with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve targets.
