Company Description

Hotel Doolin is a unique hotel located in County Clare, Ireland, home to various amenities including Fitz's Pub, Glas Restaurant, The Stonewall Cafe, The Barn wedding and events venue, Cullinan's Guesthouse, and Hotel Doolin Suites. The next venture will be Hotel Doolin's Bakery.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastry Chef at Hotel Doolin. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for daily operations including food preparation, to supervise all phases of food production, and carry responsibility for food quality and service.

Applications for Commis Pastry Chef will also be considered.

Description:

Prepare and produce a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Maintain consistent product quality and presentation.
Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures and food safety regulations.
Manage workload efficiently.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong expertise in viennoiserie, pastry, and French cuisine techniques.
A passion for food and creativity in baking.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Fluent in English.
Legal entitlement to work full-time in Ireland.
