Hours of Work 39 hours per week the allocation of these hours will be at the discretion of the Department Head and in accordance with needs of service

Location of Post - Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin
Working Model - Fully Onsite
Remuneration - Current salary scale with effect from 1st June 2026: 54,494 (point 1) to 57,499 (point 12)
Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)
Closing Date Monday, 20th July 2026
Proposed Interview Date - Candidates will be called forward for interview at short notice, and the expected interview date is week commencing 20th July 2026.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

The post holder is required to assist the Facilities Manager with the implementation and the provision of services to support the development, maintenance, upkeep and repair of both the internal and external physical infrastructure of the entire Peamount Healthcare campus including Peamount Farm.

Point on Salary Scale

New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale (*exceptions may apply for the below grades, provided proof of recognised service is submitted by VOS)

*Clinical and Therapy Grades and Staff Nurses*: Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service, local authorities, public service, health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies.
