We’re a small, friendly, forward-thinking GP practice ( 1.4 Doctors) looking for an experienced Practice Nurse(s) to join our team up to a full-time basis of maximum 35 hours per week , as sadly our current full-time Nurse is joining further education.

We're open to job sharing with another Nurse with flexibility around sessions (Monday and Wednesday mornings are required).Being a team player , self-starter and flexible are all essential!
Location: Lusk
Role: You’ll be delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages. Your clinical expertise will support both preventative and responsive care, with a focus on:
Primary childhood and adult vaccinations
Cervical smears (Cervical Check registration required)
Chronic Disease Management Programme
Skin/wound care (Suture removal/dressing)
Telephone triage and patient advice
Phlebotomy
Suture removal
ECG/ 24-hour ABPM/ Spirometry
Ear syringing
Blood test results-Actions (as per GP/protocol).
Sexual health/Family planning Administering Prescribed long-term medications/injections
Health promotion and education
Manage clinical stock, cold chain and administration of state scheme Requirements
Must be currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience post qualifications Must have General Practice or Primary Care experience of 2 years
Cervical Check training essential
Vaccinator training desirable Confident working independently and as part of a team Confident using clinical systems (Socrates is the practice software – training can be provided)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Must hold a valid work visa (Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G) or be an EU/EEA citizen

Pay: €25.00–€30.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
