Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the successful delivery of complex technology and transformation initiatives across our public sector and utilities clients. This role involves responsibility for project delivery from initiation through to completion, effective governance and stakeholder engagement, and ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed time, cost, quality and compliance constraints.
Responsibilities

Work with the Project Owner / Scrum Master to confirm project scope, goals, objectives and business justification; obtain project resources (people and budget); and reaffirm the project mandate.

Prepare a detailed project work plan, including associated resource requirements.

Undertake standard RAID analysis and establish project governance structures and processes.

Create, maintain and update Project Initiation Documentation, project plans and project status reports.

Manage, monitor and maintain progress against the project plan to ensure delivery of key stages and objectives within agreed time, cost and quality constraints.

Track and report progress to the Project Steering Group, Project Sponsor, Programme Manager and executive stakeholders, escalating issues where appropriate and implementing corrective measures when required.

Continually assess potential risks and issues, maintaining risk and issue logs together with contingency plans.

Play a key role in developing an effective communication approach for the project, including communication and consultation with key stakeholders.

Identify interdependencies between stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and that risks are identified, mitigated and communicated.

Identify process gaps and implement appropriate business process and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
-
8–10 years' project management experience.
-
Professional project management certification.
-
Experience delivering business, compliance or process-focused initiatives.
-
Experience implementing effective process controls or compliance frameworks.
-
Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
-
Working knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP and practical application experience.
-
Budget management and commercial experience.
-
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
-
Ability to support effective team performance and collaboration.
-
Demonstrated experience delivering fixed-price engagements successfully.
-
Experience using standard project management and Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Word and Visio.

Well-developed organisational and communication skills.
-
Excellent command of English.
Desirable Requirements
-
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Previous experience working within the public sector or utilities sector.

Customer experience exposure.

Salary Range: €70,000-€85,000
