CF 2 - Ensuring, controlling or monitoring compliance by a regulated financial service provider with its relevant obligations

CF 11 -Dealing in or with property on behalf of the regulated financial service provider

Position Summary: (Overview of key purpose and accountability of the role)

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Trading, hedging, and execution for internal and external funding, as well as macrotrading opportunities

Manage dealerbook for TD Bank MM paper

Funding and cash optimisation

Manage intraday liquidity requirements and open market operations as needed

Risk, P&L, and capital management across a variety of asset classes
Acting as the Local funding SME (subject matter expert)
Client relationship management (internal and external)
Cross-business collaboration

Contribute to ILAAP and ICAAP for all funding and liquidity matters as required
Back up responsibilities to the greater TDGF Treasury team

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
High level of proficiency in MS Office, VBA, Python, SQL, Bloomberg
Excellent communication skills and experience speaking to technical and business audiences
High level of proficiency in statistical analysis on large datasets
Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter
Familiarity with financial markets across a breadth of interest rate products and liquidity management is a plus
Previous experience in a bank/regulated entity is desirable but not essential.
