We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role plays a key part in supporting our fast-paced Supply Chain operation across our 3 Dublin sites, partnering closely with the HR Business Partner and operational leaders to provide a comprehensive HR service that enables business performance, colleague engagement, and operational excellence.
You will contribute to delivering an exceptional employee experience while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, employee relations, workforce capability, and a high-performance culture across the site.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide end-to-end HR administration support, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation management, employee lifecycle changes, offboarding, retirement processes, payroll administration, HR reporting, and people data management.
Partner with operational managers to support workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, attendance management, and day-to-day people matters within a busy supply chain environment.
Work closely with external agencies on recruitment activity and requirements.
Co-ordinate and participate in Company Branding initiatives and Community Programmes.
Support and assist managers in employee relation matters including investigations, disciplinary meetings and hearings. This will involve activities such as attending meetings, taking minutes and drafting letters.
Provide advice on all HR policies to Managers and colleagues to promote consistent and fair application.
Support the HRBP in the delivery of the engagement framework to create high performing teams, continuous improvement, development, and a high performing culture across the network.
Be a resource to individual employees as appropriate: provide advice and support as required, facilitate problem solving and be a point of contact.
Maintain excellent relationships with managers and colleagues.
Ensure employee records, HR systems, and documentation are maintained accurately and in line with GDPR and company requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor, or similar role.
Experience supporting HR activities within a supply chain, warehousing, distribution, FMCG, or operational environment.
Exposure to employee relations processes, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and absence management cases.
Experience supporting recruitment activity, preferably within high-volume operational environments.
Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and its practical application.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support a multi-shift operation when required.
A collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering excellent HR support.
Essential Qualifications
Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
CIPD qualification (or equivalent) or working towards accreditation.
