Payroll Specialist EMEA (f/m/d) - Dublin

Key responsibilities

Deliver timely and accurate payroll for multiple European countries and entities
Work closely with internal and external partners, including our outsourced payroll vendor, HR, the Benefits and Stock teams, authorities, and auditors
Review internal processes and service delivery, recommend improvements, and help implement them
Partner with teams across the business to streamline and simplify ways of working
Contribute to payroll-related projects
Communicate clearly with the business and our employees, taking ownership of ad hoc queries through to resolution
Uphold eBay's DNA

What you bring

3+ years' experience in complex payroll delivery, ideally within a shared service team
Experience in a large organisation, handling high volumes in a fast-paced environment
Solid knowledge of regulatory payroll requirements across several EMEA countries
Good understanding of payroll topics such as benefits, equity, and shadow/hypo tax
Comfortable working with AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up analysis, documentation, and recurring tasks — and open to learning new ones as they emerge
A detail -, and goal-oriented approach
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to manage competing priorities accurately and efficiently
Reliability, commitment, flexibility, and a talent for working in virtual teams
Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus
