Weekend Chef / Cook Wanted!
Location: Gala , Dublin rd, Longford
Hours: Saturdays & Sundays, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Position: Part-Time (Weekend Cover)
Are you passionate about turning simple ingredients into crowd-pleasing, high-quality food? We are a brand-new, bustling café located inside of the Gala- Applegreen service station., and we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Weekend Chef / Cook to join our growing team!
We aren’t your average pit-stop. We are dedicated to serving fresh, delicious, and top-tier food to our locals and travelers alike. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take genuine pride in what you put on a plate, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast, brunch, and lunch options during our busy weekend shifts.
- Ensure every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our standards for presentation, taste, and freshness.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen workspace (following all food hygiene standards).
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A Passionate Foodie: You have a keen interest in producing great food and care about the details.
- A Team Player: You have a positive, "can-do" attitude and love working collaboratively with others.
- Reliable & Organized: You can manage your time well to handle the morning and lunchtime rushes.
- Experienced: Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen, café, or deli environment is highly preferred.
