Full job description

Overview:

As a Senior Financial Accountant at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity:

In this role you will:

Take ownership of the preparation of the monthly management accounts including profit and loss account, balance sheet and cashflow report for assigned entities.
Lead the external audit for assigned entities.
Point of contact for assigned entities.
Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
Complete regulatory reporting – VAT, RTD and VIES returns as required.
Prepare year end files for audit and tax returns.
Review and approve supplier payments.
Support the payroll process including reviews and posting payroll journals.
Support junior members of the team, providing training and playing an active role in their development.
Perform detailed variance analysis on general ledger balances and management and statutory financial reports, investigating variances and ensuring the accuracy of financial information
Maintain strong internal controls and recommend process improvements

We would love to hear from you if you:

ACA/ACCA qualified with Audit practice experience.
Preferably 2+ years post qualification industry experience
Adapt to new processes with agility and enthusiasm
Are detail oriented and quality focused
Excel in a collaborative and friendly team environment
Thrive in a hands-on environment focusing on innovation, resourcefulness, and velocity
Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
Experience working within a multicurrency environment would be an advantage.
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or Netsuite would be an advantage

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
