Relevant engineering experience, with an interest in applying technical knowledge to sustainability, decarbonisation, resource efficiency, and environmental performance.
Experience working within project environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions.
Interest in sustainability assessment methodologies, including energy modelling, carbon accounting, life cycle assessment (LCA), and green building certification processes. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of, or a strong interest in developing expertise in sustainability challenges and opportunities associated with decarbonisation, energy efficiency, water conservation, sustainable materials, circular economy principles, and carbon reduction initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical information and use data to support decision-making.
Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to develop expertise in sustainability, pursue professional accreditations (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, WELL), and stay abreast of industry developments.
